Yep, I will torque the AN7 bolt to 35 - 40 pounds. The NAS bolt has I higher shear load, but not one that can be an issue in either case.
For me the installation of Ponk brace seemed the right thing to do considering I have the plane grounded for reskinning and I was planning on inspecting the gear box as well as all other attach points, including the empennage attach points.
I’m fairly deep into it now, I have a new radio and a number of other items on the agenda so the work continues.....

Finished the Ponk and Leg install on Saturday, torqued and secured. I also added the wheel cap covers. My new hangar door got installed and finished last Friday. Currently the aircraft is in my buddies heated hangar, I will move back to my hangar in the spring.

First Flight yesterday. Everything seem good. It was a windy/gusty day and couldn't find smooth air to complete all my test points, but it seems to fly OK....as for me, that's a different story:)

I am always amazed at the organization some folks manage to keep in their hangars! Mine always appears as if in mid-project and I am the only one who knows where the tools are. Congrats!
