Simple disassembly of the brake in order to remove the tire is OK. But a pilot/owner may not perform brake repairs/rebuilds (which would involve brake pad replacement by rivetting, etc.).

Amazing how some guys can get down so quickly and exit their airplane when there are mudbugs to be eaten!

HMA 170! That bird lived here in MN for a while. It's setup nicely and looks nice. You've got a good one. As I recall it's got the extra heater, correct?

kyle,
You are correct. N9125A moved to Idaho. It does have dual heaters and the Tanis engine heating as well. I just completed the annual with a complete paperwork and aircraft inspection/update. A real head to toe cleaning. Installed BAS pull handles and shoulder harnesses, 7.0x6.0 tires and replaced old wiring, headliner and many little adjustments. About 35 hours with myself and my A&P. N9125A is ready to brave the Idaho backcountry (Density altitude permitting in the summer).

Great! Keep us posted on your ID adventures. Don't forget pictures - especially for the calendar!

I've elk hunted down around yellow pine. Some neat back country strips in there. Would love to fly there someday.....

Kyle,
If you ever fly this way let me know. I just bought a cabin located at ID35, a 2600 grass strip up in the forest. You could fly in their enroute or stay awhile huh ? New plane, new cabin, I just need more time !!!!
Never thought about a picture for the calendar, maybe I'll get one in the spring.

I'll have to get ahold of you when I do my annual Idaho back country trip this Summer. I've been into a bunch of the strips back there and hit a few diferent ones every year.
