What baggage doors can be used on the 170b?

Hi,
I would like to install a baggage door on my 170 and have one off what I think is a 172 or maybe a 182.
It is a tall door that would be above the hat shelf by about two inches if installed as it is.
Does anyone know what doors will fit the 170?
Thanks for your help!
Ian

It should work. Contact Delair in Porterville, CA they have the STC. I have one off a 172 that I need to install also.

From personal experience, all those doors are the same, and the hinges are different. They are only bolted to the door so they can be swapped. I had 3 doors to choose from in my parts, and decided to use a door from an old 180 that has a button on the pilots doorpost, instead of the ugly exterior latch. The door from a newer 185 and 172 also fit the same hole as the door I installed.

I used Harry D's STC and I have no idea what the door came out of. I feel relatively sure they're all the same with slight changes in the surrounding area on various models.
In retrospect, I think maybe the one I used came out of a C-175. I remember that somewhere on the unused plastic trim, the "C-175 " was prominent.

Mine was out of a '61 172. Has a nice flush oval latch and separate lock cylinder. Looks much better than the big later model latch. Has a big 175 stamped into the inner structure. Someone told me they just came off the 175 line when they decided to put them in 172s.
I don't recall the hat shelf moving upward. Was done per Harry's STC.
