fuel selector operation 1948 170

Post by buenoav »

The one I have is valve handle only (no Pointer). Left tank mark is on right side of plate, right on left side of plate, both on bottom, and off on top. They appear to opperate correctly, but to get over Tabs (stops) the lever had to be pulled up to switch functions. Is this correct?

Any help or guidance will be appreciated. ASAP I hope. Thanks Neil

What model? Sounds like you might have a '48.

My 48 has a stop pin at top for OFF, then no tabs or stops for the rest of the settings with again, BOTH at bottom. The lever is connected to the valve at the firewall with a long shaft.
