Wentworth auction May 17-19

Here's your chance to buy some of Wentworth's inventory for what it's really worth, not the high prices they normally charge.

Looks like there are some 170 parts to be sold. I'd go if I lived in Minneapolis.

If it's like most auctions....Let's see, small charge for loading with fork lift, % add on premium and a hefty reserve. That "What it's Worth" may still be elusive. Still might be interesting to see what is there. A buddy of mine saw one of the pictures and said: OH!OH! I bet they have a good set of wheel pants for my PA-28. I think he got "auction fever" LOL!

And of course you'll have to wait around until the lot you want comes up. That might be three days.

The best deals at auction are often the items I don't go to get. Wentworth had a very large auction last year too. There may be some rare, priceless deals to be had , but most likely the majority of items sold will have already been bought and sold at auction before. Sometimes people need the space more than the stuff. They can pay someone to haul it off, or you can pay them and haul it off

Does anyone know what the 170 stuff went for at the Wentworth Auction. It was all tailplane parts and I think some cowls. It would be interesting to know.
