Keeping Polished Aluminum Polished

Hi all

I'm a newbie here. I love the original polished aluminum and paint trim of the 170s, but am concerned about corrosion at locations near the ocean. Is there a method to coat or treat the aluminum so that it doesn't have to be painted to avoid exposure and corrosion?

Thanks all

Jim

Just a regular carnauba paste wax? I've heard other suggestions such as baby oil.. any thoughts? Of course, the almighty WD-40 might be hard to compete with!!

we have tried this with good results

I have not used it on any aircraft, I have used it on the front of my Motor home, and a travel trailer, when the bugs dry, they fall off.
