Where are common areas to check for corrosion on 170A models?

Wing attach blocks (where wing attach bolts pass thru).
Wing carry-thru spar/hat-section.
Wing strut attach (upper /lower).
Fuel tank bays.
Landing gear wedges and gearbox.
Battery box.
Of course, that's a very different question than "Where are the common areas to check for cracks and wear."

I sure wouldn't mind getting info on "Where are the common areas to check for cracks and wear."
If you have the time.
Thanks.

Rib-assembly lower 3.jpg
I visited a shop Saturday and while there the Tech showed the above 170 Lower Rudder Rib. The Rudder Bell-crank must have been close to tearing itself off. He also had the lower rudder skins which had only slight corrosion and could have been conditioned and used however they had been damaged in some earlier unknown kind of tail-wheel incident.
