Hello all, I am a new member and I have 1952 170B, I am installing the secondary seat stop kit, and I got a kit from Yingling Aviation and the kit did not have the installation instructions. I have the SK210-174B kit. Could somebody on here post a copy of the instructions that came with the kit? Thanks.

I don't recall seeing any more detailed instruction sheet when the mechanic installed mine. There could have been and you would be right to check with Cessna for one.

Having said that. If you look at the picture of installation "A" , it shows pretty much everything you need to know. The belt is attached to the floor in line with the forward end the seat rails with an nut plate under the floor so that when the seat is full forward the belt is not fully retracted. The rest is Adel clamped to the seat. Use the ICA to adjust and for proper operation.

Thanks Bruce, I was looking at your pics, the angle that came in the kit is that what you used to fab the brackets to attach it to the seat? I wasn't sure if the angle was used under the floor to strengthen the attach, just the large nut plate is all that's under the floor?

The angle is used to mount the hardware under the seat. Only a nut plate under the floor with no reinforcement. The mech actually used one of the holes for an inspection plate which to be honest I wouldn't do.

I'll find it and post it. Some time things slip through the cracks.

Here is the link to the installation instructions in our library

FYI, a recent search shows the SK210-174B kit on sale for the low low price of $1332, down from a normal price of $1480 8O

I’m looking at the repair cost for my current unit and will report back with what I hope is a more reasonable number.
