New Owner-Oil Dipstick and fuses

I bought my '53 B model in January. flown it about 15-20 hours. Blew a 25A fuse right away during my first night flight, can't fine the same physical size replacement. What are my options, I was thinking of replacing the fuse receptacles or installing circuit breakers?
Also after reading some things here I am not sure if I have a 170 or 172 dipstick. There is a number on the end of the dipstick that says....531081, I cannot find anywhere that the number is listed or for what aircraft it should be used. Do I have a correct dipstick?
