I am working on a 170B with Avcon O-360 conversion SA806CE, Drawing list 17013. I do not have a copy of the install drawings . There is a fuel pressure hose from the carb. to the firewall and I'm wondering what it is supposed to be. What is there is Stratoflex 193-2 which according to my Stratoflex book is only for "low pressure air and vacuum instrument systems".

Thanks for any help,
Tim

Avcon calls out an Avcon part number, so that's no help. Del-Air calls for Aeroquip 303-2 hose, but that size is not commonly available. Check around, maybe Aviall can get it. Or maybe you can buy the Del-Air part. It's 303-2-240, 24" long.

I'll be interested to know what you find, because my fuel pressure line is 193-2.

You can also have -2 fittings put on certain types of -3 hose.

I don't recall the reference at the moment (I'll try to locate it) but 193-2 is actually used for low press fuel/hyd in some approved installations.

I couldn't get any real documentation, but my hose guy says 193-2 is used for some fuel applications, and my A&P textbook (not acceptable data, but good info) says that Buna-N (Strat. 193 material) is used "for applications in which petroleum fluids are carried." Looks like 193-2 with firesleeve is going on this a/c. Thank you folks for the help.
