Hello all,

Was wondering from those in Alaska, specially around the Anchorage area, any suggestions for a mechanic that is knowledgeable on 170B's with C145 engine.

Several come to mind but not actually in Anchorage.

Wick Air at 4-Corners Airport half-way between Palmer and Wasilla next to 3-Bears
Mark Kapsner at the Willow Airport
A 170 Club member/mechanic lives at Wolf Lake but I can't remember his name.

Shawn Holly in Soldatna is an S&P with a IA who is a TIC170A member too. He flys a C170B with a TCM IO=360 engine.

You might consider Russell Smoot at Merrill if he is still taking customers. Russell has worked on my 170 for about 14 years, has numerous 170 customers, and owns and flies a 170B himself.

Thanks for the vote Dick. However I don't do much maintenance for hire anymore.
I do give a lot of free advise though.
