The International Cessna^® 170 Association

Looking to put lift rings on a 170B, other than the parts is there any other modifications one has to do?. Do you need to drill through the spar or is that already provided for? Is there a block that goes inside the spar for support? In the L19 parts breakdown there is listed a panel bracket part #0600233, is this part of the support needed?
