Build a metal airplane for outdoor decoration

The last time I was at Gastons around Christmas time they had an airplane crafted from metal the best I can recall that was lined with Christmas lights to give it some detail at night. Since I seen that several years ago I have always wanted to build one of my own to put on top of my shop and during the Christmas season when I put lights on my home I would could put some lights on airplane. Thought it would look pretty awesome setting up onto of my shop all light up at night for the folks driving by. I have a pic of the one at Gastons somewhere but it will likely take me more time than I have to locate it.

I am just wondering if anyone here has something similar, understand I am not trying to build a full detail airplane just a frame of one out of re-bar or something so I can toss some lights on it for a Christmas type decoration. I kind of grabbed some measurements from Aryana's 27% build thread to get some idea of dimensions.

Thanks for any ideas.

I'll try to get a picture of it this year. We have an airport neighbor that places a wrecked plane in his yard, in attitude that makes it appear it nose dived into the ground. The wings and other parts are scattered throughout the lawn, and Santa Clause is laying belly up next to the "wreckage"

George,

To bad it's 2000+ miles away from me. I suspect that it is being heavily guarded at this point.

Del,
I look forward to seeing that setup.
