Seats get swapped among airplanes (which can lead to all kinds of troubles ... for example, when AD notes are issued... but, I’ve seen both straight (with a plastic knob) and curved ends.

Another method to bend tubing is to slip a screen-door type spring over the length of the tube and bend the entire assembly... them slide the spring off the tube.

I agree, my brief to Pax is do not pull up here. I have been thinking about cutting it off.
