SK210-175A Co-Pilot Secondary Seat Stop Instructions

By any chance does anyone have a copy of the installation instructions for the co-pilot/passenger side Cessna secondary seat stop kit (SK210-175A)? Like the pilot side kit, the co-pilot side kit does not include the instructions, and I've given up trying to get them from my nearest Cessna service center. (I can't fault them too much because the co-pilot side kit they gave me was one someone never picked up and they didn't charge me for it.) I downloaded the pilot side instructions from the MX library and I'm sure the co-pilot side installation is a mirror image of the pilot side. But it would be nice to have the co-pilot side instructions as well.

Thanks in advance.

Thanks Gary. But that's the service bulletin, not the installation instructions. It says that the installation instructions are supposed to be included with the kits, but the kits do not include them. The pilot side kit instructions are in the MX library, but not the co-pilot side.

Gene,
You need to get registered with Cessna Support and then the instructions will be included with the link I gave. (Or maybe a moderator could update my link in the Maintenance Library to reflect the correct pages for this Service Kit.) Make sure you also look at SEL 25-03 which has to do with some faulty AmSafe reels used on these secondary seat stops.

I guess that would be the definition of a bad day: 1.) You crash your 170. 2.) The primary seat stop fails (after numerous service bulletins and AD's to address that issue). 3.) The secondary seat stop fails because the AmSafe reel is defective.

Gary, I'm registered with Cessna. I didn't get the instructions. Just the SEB.

OK, I changed the link. Enter SK210-175a in the "Document Number" field.

Many thanks Gary. I've now submitted my registration and I'm waiting for Cessna to complete it. I guess it takes them a day or two to get back to me.

BTW, shortly after I bought my 170B this past September, I thought about whether I needed to notify Cessna in any way, and I tried to check out customer service on Cessna's website. I even clicked on the registration link and saw that it wanted my corporation name (a required field), business address (the only address field), etc. -- very much directed to corporate clients, not a lowly C-170 owner. So I did not register at the time, and I asked a number of other "lowly" (not 170) owners on my field whether I should register. None were registered. I should have asked you folks in this association. Not to polish apples (too much) but in the few months I've been a member, I've found this organization to be invaluable. Well worth the membership fee. I've compared it to other type associations, and the level of knowledge and commitment to helping us out on technical and other issues is outstanding. (And the jokes in the Humor thread are good too, although it's been silent lately.)

So this time on the Cessna site, I plowed through the registration with a smile on my face with the knowledge that I should be just as important as some corporate Citation owner.

Ask and you shall receive. :D :D :D Thanks for posting it in the MX library, Bruce. I now have a copy that I've been trying to get for weeks. You are much more responsive here than the Cessna Service Center.
