a special thank you to Alda Nicmans for her story about David. Finally a report back on how the scholarship has help this 2013 recipient, good job! Sure would be nice to hear back from the others.....

Nice article from Andrew Tuohy as well. It would be interesting to know 1 other statistic.... how close to a airstrip did these accidents occur.

I agree and thank you for the information on Cessna 170 accidents. Well researched and timely. The story on the Cherokee 6 flight was also good because it reminds us we all can make mistakes and learn from them. Would like to see more articles like these and thank Assoc for promoting aviation safety.

Hey, thanks for the kind word on my article. That would be a good thing to include in such a study. I'm planning on writing an article for the 180/185 club soon, I will see if I can incorporate some of that information - but a lot of the older accident reports don't have a ton of information about location.
