Return to TIC170B and Muffler/stack Clamps

Post by JJH55 »

Back to TIC170A after a long absence. Sure did miss the friendly jabbing and the wealth of expert advise doled out in the forums. I'm glad to be back and look forward to participating in the group.
After a two year absence from flying, I have realized how much busting knuckles, good airmanship and keeping my pride and joy in the air, was therapy for me. The layoff was purely my decision and a re-assessment of priorities was long overdue. Given that, I am in the process of getting me and the "old bird" current (annual, BFR and medical) and both of us back in the air.

During the annual I found a broken exhaust stack clamp and am having difficulties finding a source for a replacement. Does anyone know where to purchase these clamps? They are the ones that have the "button" that interfaces with the muffler and the crossover support bar?

PN 0550157-5 otherwise known as Wag Aero's cat #E-477-006, priced $24.75. (800-558-6868)
They also have what they call their "tailpipe brace" clamp. E-477-009 (no Cessna part no.) $23.10
