On the TCDS under required equipment I found this:

In addition to the pertinent required basic equipment specified in CAR 3, the following items of equipment must be installed:
Landplane: Items 1(a), 110, 201(a), 202(a), 204(a), 402(f) and 607

Anyone have any idea what the item numbers refer to?

Joe, they refer to items in the TCDS.

See how the engine items are numbered 101, 102 and so forth.
