The International Cessna^® 170 Association

I'm getting ready to have my '53 170-B painted this spring and want to put the original paint scheme on it. I've seen some photos on line but was wondering if there are actual diagrams with measurements available anywhere ? Does the Association have a file of these or do any members have their own that I might get a copy of for a fee ? Thanks for any info. Mike Stahlman

Hi Mike,

The Association has them available online here, but in the Member's Only section of the forum. If you are an Association member, contact the webmaster to get your forum account linked with your Association membership to view. Lots of goodies back there, so if you're not yet a member, it's well worth it to join.

To be more specific. We have Cessna dwg 0500013 and 0500018 which is the paint scheme for the 53. We have other drawing for 52, 54 and 56. We do not have all the years and we may be missing a drawing for those years we do have.

Thanks Ryan and Bruce. I am an Association member and I will go to that file and check out what is there. A good diagram will help out the painter immensely. I'm hoping to fly back to the Indiana convention in July and I'll look both of you up. Mike

Does "4516" perhaps stand for N4516C?
