Gents,
I know this is somewhat subjective but I am trying to estimate the value range for a good O-300B nowadays? Consider about 2000 hours with good compressions, logs and all accessories. I am looking for one to overhaul.

Coming up with a number is like throwing darts and a box of chocolates; after a few beers the board seems bigger but the number is still be hard to get and you never know whats inside until...
You NDT.

Jim's right on. There is no real difference in the value of a B over an A. Some might think it even worth less cause it is not the common A though I don't.

I think the value might be determined by the warranty of the serviceability of certain expensive internal parts like cranks, cams, and gears.
A very attractive price might be negated by a cracked crank found on inspection.
