Dome/Instrument Light Shield Assembly Attachment

I have a '52 B model (s/n 20467). But it has the later Instrument Light Shield Assembly of s/n 25373 & on at the top of the cabin. It's the one with the dome light in the back and the two Grimes torpedo lights in the front aimed at the instrument panel, see items 50-56 of Fig 70 of the B model IPC. It must have been added later to my plane, although the log book doesn't mention it. A couple of days ago the front screw fell out. Its a #6 3/8" long "A" style stainless sheet metal screw. I have the screw, but for the life of me, I can't find what it screws into. There doesn't seem to be any hole in the vicinity to accept the screw. The two back screws (item 58) on the plate (item 52) screw into lands on either side of the dome light reflector, and they are securely attached. But there doesn't appear to be anything similar for the front screw to screw into. Can someone with this same instrument/dome light shield assembly tell me what the front screw is supposed to screw into?
Thanks in advance,
Gene

Gene,
It sounds like you probably do not have a speaker baffle assembly in front of your light assembly. Look at figure 70A item number 2.

Is there a speaker baffle assy installed ? I'd have to have a look but there's not much up there.

Jim and John, yes I do have the speaker baffle assembly. Is there supposed to be a screw hole in it? I originally thought that's where the screw went, but there does not appear to be a hole in it for the screw.

Sorry Gene and John, I entered at time warp (watching hockey while looking at the IPC) then posted and didn't realize John's had posted. I was just guessing, I'll have to confirm at my plane

Yours probably doesn't because it didn't originally have that dome light assembly. Looking at the IPC would determine whether it's a nutplate or simply a PK screw. I think David Ross (bagarre) put the later style in his airplane.

Thanks Jim and Ryan. I think I figured it out. John had the right answer of course and I didn't appreciate it last night. So thanks John. It looks like my panel has only one front screw in the center (unless I'm really losing it and didn't see the other). Fig 70 of the IPC appears to show only one front screw, if that's what someone like me was expecting to see. But it really shows two front screws, which mate with the nut plates on the speaker baffle that John identified. The second front screw is partially hidden in the figure by a wire going to one of the torpedo lights. That's what threw me. I'll check my configuration this afternoon. But I doubt I have the nut plates. I think I would have seen them in all the prodding I've already done. Interestingly, I think the screw that fell out was just loosely threaded into the headliner, and that's why it fell out. Time for a better solution.
