Mystery part?

Can anyone identify this part? I found it under the pilot seat this weekend, and havent been able to figure out where it came from. I thought maybe it came from the seat itself, but I don't see anything similar to it on the passenger side.

Thats the lock pin for your Door Stewards.
Where the strut socket mates with the pin mounted in the door or sill, that slips into a hole to lock the joint and the curved part snaps over to hold it in place.

Here's a pic, you can see the curved part snapped over.

Oh, you're talking about the pin. The other thing is called a dime. We used to use them to make phone calls.

That dime is known as a Roosevelt dime...although it has comedian Dick Martin's profile on it. :twisted:
