I am purchasing new tires and want to purchase new inner tubes.
Saw some warnings about China inner tubes.
What new inner tubes are recommended by the forum?
Who is best vendor?
Thanks in Advance.

I purchase my tires & tubes from Desser in Memphis, TN, have for years and have no problems--I would recommend them. Tubes for our tail wheels always seem to be made in China or elsewhere overseas. I have not had any negative issues with them, but would prefer to buy American.

Among other brands, Aircraft Spruce carries Aero Classic tires and tubes, which is Desser's proprietary brand. So you can buy them from Desser or Aircraft Spruce. Last time i bought tubes (2 yrs ago), I bought Aero Classics from Spruce.

Avoid experimenting with the new Desser brass 90-degree valve types. Upon installation one of the brass tubes snapped with only minor effort and there's $60 wasted. The one that did not fail also did not make it any easier to add air with the fairings installed, so ... I'll never use them again and stay with the straight rubber ones.

Thank you for the info. I'll be changing main tires & tubes in the spring & was thinking about the brass tubes.
