Misplaced Brackett

I don't recall what it looks like. It was super simple.

0-300 with alternator kit installed (Ford) C 170B. S.N. 26433

There is a 2 inch scat tube coming from top of Cooling baffle down to alternator.

There is a simple bracket that secures end of scat tubing blast air on end of alternator.

What does this simple bracket look like?

What and how does this mount?

Since this is an after market conversion from generator to Alt. the IPC has no clue. I do not have orig drawing supplied.

Picture or copy of drawing would be appreciated.

Regards

I must have missed the answer to your question if George mentioned it. I have that same Ford alt conversion and on my C-O300 and my cooling hose is held (loosely) by a clamp that looks like an
Adel clamp w/o the rubber portion. The clamp is secured by a screw (as I recall) on the alternator. Don't recall if it's one of the through bolts that holds the alt together or not, but I think it is. I'll check my Stc Paperwork to see if there is any diagram or mention of the clamp. As I said the hose is just barely snug in the clamp. Don't have to loosen the clamp to remove or reinstall the scat tube.

Bruce, thanks for pointing out my obvious oversight. In my haste to read the posts I just flat missed the link  However, your post/attachment is very helpful because my STC paperwork only contains the 337 data and not the installation data you and George provided. Thanks again!
