Looking for information on getting my rudder refurbished.
It's airworthy but the dents are bugging me. I heard of guy out that will exchange
Them out but I can't find him.
My plane is a 170B and I'm based in central Cal
Thanks David.

I think Williams Airmotive will either repair your core or take it as a trade-in if they have stock.

Do you know if Karl Anderson is still doing repairs or is he just selling the skins.

I thought Karl Anderson was just supplying now and got out of repair but I could be wrong. I would recommend him first.

Hi David,
I am not sure where you are located but Buckeye Airmotive in Caldwell, ID (208) six three one-9358 can do it. Ask for Steve. I just had the bottom my rudder repaired and re-skinned. They have access to a die roller that can make exact copies of the Cessna skins. Skinning a rudder would be an easy job for them.

A broken tail spring years ago before I had the airplane.
