Well here is a wild card topic! While doing internet research on mogas fuel treatment, some friends and I came up on the "Fitch Fuel Catalyst". These are advertised as one time non-consumable little metallic pellets you place in your gas tanks or in the fuel line that supposedy through catalytic action, increase fuel economy 5-20%, reduce emmisions and will preserve and even reduce the effects of fuel deterioration over time. They want you to put them in any engine, from chain saws through heavy diesel trucks. While not specifically advertised for aviation use, they claim it works on diesel fuel and auto fuels. Of course, their customer testimonials are all glowing but do include many different motor sports trade journals that have tested these things. Anyone have any experience with these? Sure looks like snake oil to me. I'm sure Gahorn will have some valuable insight too. IF they worked, one could install them in your own private fuel tank delivery system (but NEVER in the airplane tanks or fuel lines). Here is a link to their site. Enjoy!

Using a paint strainer/funnel, simply pour your gas into the tank making certain it is thoroughly "awash" with the pellets prior to entering the fuel tank.
The results are amazing. Ive quit buying gas since I started using 'em.

Kinda reminds me of the special "elk pills" you can take to increase your elk-hunting ability. They really work! Cool thing about them is that you don't have to buy them--you can just find them on the ground in areas frequented by elk....

Yes, there are, but the wolves seem to get the best moose hunting plan, no limit and no closed season!
