Original Oil Cap Markings

Anyone know what the original markings on the oil cap looked like? I tried the search function but nothing came up. The markings on mine are made with embossed metal tape stuck to the cap -- clearly not original. I'd like to make it look fairly close to original. One of those things I've been meaning to do but haven't gotten around to it until now.

Mine was marked “8 qts” by my mechanic during my last annual. I have been unable to find the regulatory requirement for the marking.

For our 170’s certified under CAR3.767(b) applies: The word “oil” and the quantity.
(Although I was taught that the grade was also req’d, CAR3 doesn’t actually state that.)
For current production aircraft the qty is not mentioned, only the word “oil”.
FAR 23.1557 applies:

Thanks. I've got that. But what I was asking is whether anyone knows what the original marking looked like? Cap color, font style and size, color of the markings (black?), that sort of thing. I was just curious. I figured that someone with a near original 170 might know. Mine's curently a yellow cap with embossed aluminum tape (think dymo lable maker, but metal) having the CAR3-required markings.

My water-soaked Harddrives have a pic of a C-145 installation-view of that oil cap ...but I cannot remember if it had any legible lettering on the cap or not without recovering the HD.... Maybe a search of this forum for original brochures might reveal the answer.
