I have eaten at the cafe https://www.yelp.com/biz/angelina-count ... afe-diboll at the Angelina County Airport about 7 miles SW of Lufkin several times (always good food) and have wanted to have one of our monthly fly-ins there, but their seating is somewhat limited. However, they have a nice covered pavilion with picnic tables next to the FBO/Cafe and with our current pandemic and dining rules here in Texas, it may work better to get our food inside and sit in the pavilion to eat.

They usually have a good lunch crowd on Saturdays, so let's please try to arrive at Lufkin prior to 11:00 am to minimize our wait time.

Two 170s, and four members: LeRoy Fournier, Pete & Judi Coffey and Karl Towle gathered at the restaurant in the terminal at Lufkin (LFK) last Saturday for our monthly Texas fly-in. The weather was ideal, and the traffic pattern was hopping with Young Eagles flights. We thoroughly enjoyed the excellent food, and very friendly service.
