SID Inspections

Greetings from South Africa
Just to give you guys some context, our Civil Aviation Authority (SACAA), in their infinite wisdom, have determined that SID inspections are mandatory for all ZS-Registered Cessnas. I am currently trying to build an SID status report for a 1950 C170A that will be arriving for the first time at our workshop in the new year. I have the logbooks, and an initial SID inspection was carried out. I see an excerpt from a manual, last revised in 2012, relating to C120/140/170/190 and 195, but there is no manual number. I have a paid membership with Textron Aviation, but I can only get my hands on manual D138, which focuses on 1953 and up tricycle variants, as well as C180, but not the C170/A/B. I have asked around only to be told the manual in question has been discontinued.
My problem now is that I can't get the subject descriptions I need out of the old manual for the SID inspection numbers already carried out on the aircraft. I need these because I have been instructed by SACAA to build the report using D138 and correlate or supersede the old numbers with the inspection numbers in D138.
Would any of you be able to point me to the original manual so that I can get this aircraft back in the sky?
As it stands now, the aircraft will be grounded due to a discontinued manual which, in my opinion, is a damn travesty.
Best Regards,
Phil
