Our March 5th fly-in was scheduled for Hilltop Lakes, but thanks to a member staying informed we learned the runway at Hilltop Lakes will probably be closed for repairs and re-surfacing at that time.

Thankfully Sheila and Wendell Wyborny have offered to host our March fly-in at their residence on Dry Creek Airport at Cypress https://www.airnav.com/airport/TS07, the 12th of Marrch.

Below is their information and invitation. We appreciate their offer to host this fly-in. Let's all please make every effort to arrive prior to 11:00 am on the 12th of March.

Our March 12 fly-in will be back at the Wyborny’s home on Dry Creek Airport, in Cypress. TS07, elevation 152’, TPA 1,152’ Runways 18/36, with a 324’ tower 1 nm northwest. Class B airspace above 2,000’. CTAF 122.9. PAPI 18 and 36. The Wyborny home is just south of mid-field on the west side of the runway. Park anywhere in the back yard, with overflow on the taxiway.

We ask that you arrive by eleven, so we can transport everyone to Julio’s on 2920 by 11:45, so for the sake of logistics, please be prompt. After lunch, we will return to the house for dessert, coffee, and tea.

Texas members of TIC170A and guests met at Sheila and Wendell Wyborny's home on Dry Creek airport Saturday, the 12th of May.

Everyone would like to express their appreciation to Sheila and Wendell for hosting a nice C-170 fly-in. All enjoyed a nice visit and good eating.

Airplanes that flew in were a C-170B and a Maule. But fortunately others were able to drive in, so those in attendance were: Pete and Judi Coffey, Karl Towle, Pat Brantly, John and Colleen Lawson, Meghan Masura, Wendell & Sheila.

Sorry to have missed this one… Looks like Wendell spiffied himself up and got a haircut for you guys!
