TX C170 Fly-in May 7, 2022 Galveston (KGLS)

TIC170A members in Texas will plan to hold our Saturday, May 7, 2022, fly-in at Scholes Field in Galveston https://www.airnav.com/airport/KGLS. We hope the weather will be good so we can all make it there, have a fun visit, enjoy a good meal, and fly over the beach enjoying a nice view of the gulf.
As has always been the policy, Texas members very much enjoy having visiting members from any other State and guests join us.
Please try to arrive before 11:00 am. Moody Gardens https://www.moodygardens.com/ will provide transportation to their visitor center, and we will plan to have their buffet lunch https://www.moodygardens.com/i/download ... SCREEN.jpg at The Garden Restaurant.
On the Moody Gardens website, you can move your cursor over "Play" and see several attractions that may interest some after lunch, visitation, and pictures.
The hotel transportation will carry us back to the airport, or if you choose to walk off the little extra you may have enjoyed at the buffet, you can walk back. It has been some time since I have walked it, but as I remember, it is roughly a half-mile walk?
If you have questions or suggestions, please contact Ken Peck at c170ken@gmail.com or (512) 468-7790.
