I am looking for the part numbers of the fittings that extend from the fuel pump and connect the two fuel lines to/from the carburetor. Any direction to drawings/manuals would be helpful. Thank you

Are you referring to Fig 34 of the IPC…??

The O-300 IPC, fig. 19, shows p/n 24945 and 21619 as elbows which screw into the fuel pump. They are available at Preferred Air Parts. Edit: Fig. 34-58 in the 1948 IPC shows that these two elbows are different than the Continental IPC illustrates.
The Cessna IPC calls for AN822-6-2D.

Fabulous Gary. I thought this pump was restricted to the 48’s 145-2A and the forward door post. I guess later models weren’t changed yet. Hope you are doing well. Thanks, problem solved.

These engines may be installed in airplanes other than 170s…. Any of these engines which are installed in a low-wing aircraft will also need a fuel pump.

It looks like I gave you a bum steer. Without looking closely I thought fig. 34-58 in the 1948 IPC was pointing to the fuel pump. It actually is for both elbows, AN822-6-2D, that go in the fuel pump. Sorry about that. The "D" on that elbow p/n indicates that it is aluminum. Might be worth considering using steel elbows, AN822-6-2.
