George,
Any update on TCP. I talked to Spruce at Sun & Fun and they did not have any there. I've been on back order for three months with spruce and they said I might get some in July.

. I have now run one tank of 100LL through my C145 without TCP. Should I stop the flying till I get some? Can I operate without for a few hours without missing up things.
Hope to be at Peti Jean in May,maybe I can buy some "extra" from someone to get me through.
Thanks,
Rick

Aggressively leaning your engine will assist is preventing lead deposit problems. (There's no need to stop flying just because TCP is not being used. It's not a requirement, remember, only a beneficial additive.)
I'll follow up with Alcor and get back on this.

OK, folks. Let's avoid the MO-Gas wars.
This subject is TCP.

Rick, don't stop flying! Check around & see if anyplace near you still sells 80/87 avgas. It's doubtful, but possible.
Otherwise,Rudy has the right idea. I mix about 75% 87 octane cargas with 25% 100LL for an approximation of 80/87 with regards to lead content--as per the information provided with Petersen Aviation's cargas STC.
