Give one of our own some support

Our very own Duane Shockey and the lovelt Pauline are caretakers this year at Johnson Creek. They arrived about 10 days ago and while I was there had their first visit from Idaho Dept of Aviation folks to shows them ropes on mowers and pumps and sprinklers and all things Johnson Creek. I took Scarlet in for a couple days and had some great talks with them both. If you can make it to 3U2 I say the 170's get special treatment! haha! They will be there all summer, show 'em some support from this group.

Duane called me sometime back to say this was what he and Pauline were doing this summer, and consequently wouldn’t be attending the 170 Convention. I can’t say I’m not a little jealous! It’s coming up on 20 years since Karen and I took ‘98C up there.
Did Duane and Pauline arrive by 170, or did they drive up?

They drove up. Gonna be a heck of a summer! I’m envious of them.

I’m back at Johnson Creek for my last camp of the season and Duane and Pauline are packing up, leaving Friday. Said they had a good summer. Bookended my camping season with them. Pretty awesome if you ask me.

I spent a few days there with them in August, had a Great time!!
