The International Cessna^® 170 Association

Hoping I am not beating a dead horse here. I tried searching for a question but did not see it.

So we have a 170B with the AVCON conversion. Did the 180 with a constant speed prop eliminate the vibration range limitation marking on the tach? Anyone have a copy of the installation directions in PDF?

From the Avcon Flight Manual Supplement -

TACHO METER:
Normal operating range, 2250 - 2700 RPM (Green Arc) Maximum permissible, 2700 RPM (Red Radial Line) Avoid continuous operation 2000-2250 RPM (Red Arc)

Prop in the supplement is PROPELLER:
Hartzell Model HC-C2YK-18/7666A C.S, propeller and Hartzell Model
F-3-lA governor. Diameter, max. 74 inches and min. 72 inches, pitch settings Low - 14.0 degrees - High - 29.0 degrees



The MT prop eliminates this limitation FYI
