I’ve rec’d several emails asking for an endoscope/boroscope recommendation from Members who are “budget conscious”

I’ve got two recommendations / fair reviews…. from folks who have bought off Amazon:

and

Any other inexpensive recommendations from Participants/Members?

Depends on the mission. I procured this one as a supplement to the really expensive one because it is really easy to use for turning 180 degrees and inspecting valves. It turned out to be nicer quality than I expected, and the picture quality is good. It will not fit in the smallest spaces, but most of the inexpensive units won't. I don't care for the ones that sync to a device.

I’m on my second VA-400. A couple of the LED lights on the first one quit working. For the price, I’d take a look at the ones George and Cessnut linked before buying a VA-400 again. Dean Showalter devotes an entire session of his Airplane Owner Maintenance podcast to this subject here.

More VA-400 details here.
