170b control column bushing

I see several topics about the control column bushing, but having trouble finding the actual part from all the regular sources. any ideas? Thank you

A little more information would be helpful. There are two illustrations for the control column in the 170B IPC, fig. 61 and 61A. What's your serial number? What part number are you trying to find? There are four parts that are described as a bushing or bearing as seen here:

Are you meaning the synthetic “eye-ball” the control-tube passes thru exiting the paney? Those used to be offered in teflon by Wag Aero…but the mfr’r stopped making them. Some owners have made their own out of “Delrin” balls from McMaster-Carr.

yeah thats the one. the "bushing" right at the panel. when I pull the yoke all the way back I can wallow it around like crazy. have to live with it for now I guess. thanks for the help

Even with a tight bushing…. if you “pull the yoe all the way back”…. it will “wallow like crazy”. With the yoke all-the-way-back there is a short “lever-to-fulcrum” relationship and the yoke has a great deal of looseness. It’s unlikely to be used that way in-flight …. and is probably unimportant.
