WTB: Cessna 170 SUCCESS!
Looking for a 170, preferably a B on the East Coast, but I'm willing to take what I can get. Doesn't have to be pretty, but please no projects. Must have ADSB out. IFR equipped a plus, but not required. If anyone has something not yet for sale or has a lead please message me.
Max Budget is $135K all-in. I have a nice '46 Cessna 140 that's currently for sale and would be happy to discuss a trade + cash on my part to anyone interested.
Would also consider a different make/model as long as it's tailwheel, has a useful load that is at least 600lbs, and it can operate off 1600-1800 ft. grass. I have some mobility issues, so no heel brakes.

Re: WTB: Cessna 170
I was able to buy a fabulous ‘53 B with the Avcon conversion and a Horton STOL kit from a fellow member. Compared to my ‘46 140 it’s a fire-breathing showpiece that I still can’t believe I’m lucky enough to have! Thanks to everyone that reached out, mods you can delete this when ready.

Re: WTB: Cessna 170 SUCCESS!
hotrodmac- A friend of mine was a previous owner of your beautiful 170B and is currently not a member of the Assn. He would like to get in touch with you only to share some stories of his years with your new bird, etc. I am a member and also have an AVCON converted 170B and love it, I understand your enthusiasm!
I am not a frequent user of the Forum so don't know exactly how you would want to send your contact info to me so I could pass it along to the previous owner.....I will check back in a day or two and we can go from there. Thanks!
