Hi All: Our Texas Fly-In for February, will be at T74 in Taylor, Texas - https://www.airnav.com/airport/T74 on February 7, 2026.
The airport Manager is Stacey Batch, (512) 352-5747, airport@taylortx.gov
Stacey says that tie-down ropes are available if needed. (I recommend bringing your own.) There is a pilot's lounge. Good fuel price.
Transportation: No courtesy car, but Uber is available. The airport manager says we can figure it out on the day, since there should be plenty of airplane folk about. Being tied down before 11:00 am will get us in on the early lunch crowd.
The restaurant at the airport is now closed. It is 1.9 miles to Mueller's and 1.8 to Lozano's.
Louie Mueller BBQ is the top-rated restaurant in town - Best BBQ In Texas Ships Nationwide - https://www.louiemuellerbarbecue.com/
As an alternate, there is another restaurant near Mueller': El Corral Lozano - Mexican Cuisine - Facebook - https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id ... 624488189# or Apple Maps - https://maps.apple.com/place?map=explor ... vider=9902
