Flap Springs

I am the proud new owner of a ragwing. The flaps had a reinforcing mod added to the trailing edges prior to my purchase, and now they won't stay up while on the ground. It seems like it needs new or perhaps stronger flap springs. Does anyone know where I can get replacements? Any advice is much appreciated.

I tried looking up the part number in my ragwing IPC,and couildn't find it listed,or even depicted in an illustration!
I suggest looking for replacements at your local hardware or automotive store. Take the old spring along for comparison.

I can't find the part number in my ipc either. However are the A model flap springs the same? If they are the part number for them is 0523207 and
http://www.iwantcessnaparts.com has them for 29.80 in stock. nick

Thanks to all for the info. It sounds like there may not be an exact Cessna replacement, so I guess that means a trip to the hardware store. Since I'm not sure if the springs that are currently on there are correct, does anyone have the size, weight, etc. specs on the original springs?
