Does anyone know where I can get a stabilizer leading edge kit? Is there such an animal out there for our 170s? I'm looking for a rubber leading edge to protect the paint from rock dings in the paint and metal. If it has an STC great, if not, does anyone have anything on their plane which was done on a 337. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you, Jon

:) The guy at Porterville, CA (can't remember name) has the rubber kit that is used on the 195's and can be trimmed to fit the 170 as they have almost the same horizontal.

"The guy at porterville..." -- you talking about Harry Dellicker of DelAir?

Thanks for responding guys. I'll give Harry a call. Didn't think about him, but he has several STCs and has been a big help to us as we rebuild out 53 170B. Jon

If memory serves me correct Cessna used to offer it as a kit. Don't know if they still do or not.
