Classic?

Anybody know what timelines define classic, vintage, and antique in regards to airplanes?
According to the EAA judging guidelines, the breakdown is as follows:
Antique: August 31, 1945 - prior
Classic: September 1, 1945 - December 31, 1955
Contemporary: January 1, 1956 - December 31, 1967 ( add one year each calendar year - i.e. next year Contemporary ends at 12/31/68, the following year Contemporary ends at 12/31/69, etc.)
Vintage is a more general term used for anything in the Classic/Antique categories.
