Alternator Conversion

Any thoughts on which conversion appears to be preferred? What I am really curious about is how the conversion is done ... belt driven? I already have a belt-driven vacuum pump. Thanks, Lee

If you have the original engine (either a C-145 or O-300) then the generator/alternators are gear-driven. There are several conversions which are applicable, the most popular being the Jasco and the original Cessna conversion.)

I just emailed Skytronics re: Jasco. Does Cessna still supply the conversion kit? Any idea about cost difference between Jasco and Cessna? R/Lee (N1967C)
