Purchased a set of used 180 type cleveland brakes (52N double puck calipers & 40-75D Wheels) and was told there is an STC to legally install these on a 170.
Does any one know of such a STC?? Better yet, does anyone have a copy?? Cannot find it on the 170 list at this website.
Failing that, does any one have a copy of a 337 form which accomplishes this installation??
Gracias,
chuck

There is a previously approved 337 for this installation, but not an STC that I am aware of. The 337 can be purchased from the 170 association. If you call Parker-Hannifan, they will email you a copy of the STC for the 180, plus installation instructions. I just had this same kit approved by my PMI for my 170.

What's the kit# you used? Who is your PMI? In Renton I assume. I'm working with my PMI Bill Reichardt for approval on a 199-62 kit right now.

I could not find any STC for the 30-52N which I have. But, I have copies of two 337's for the 30-52N (180 double puck calipers) on 170's mine and someone else's. I'll try to make them emailable tomorrow and send them to you. Then, I guess it would be up to your local Fed.
