This by far is the most expensive 170 I've ever seen:

The pictures are great. I hope he sells it for full price, it will be a first.

It'd be worth more if it were owned by a TIC170A member. (We'd know it was probably maintained by one more knowlegeable than most.)
I'm convinced that all models of 170's are underpriced values. I would not sell mine for the $55K I have it insured for.

I'm betting that he is under the impression that an airplane sells for what you have in it as opposed to what someone will pay for it. I hope he does sell it for that much, that would singly drive up the prices for the rest of ours...maybe on a scale kind of the cubs and supercubs.
Has anyone read the article on the "soft" used airplane market in Flying magazine?

Based on some of the other 170's I've seen, I thought the panel while rather nice, was also ho-hum.
I would think that a $110,000 dollar 170 would have a nice center-stack panel with full IFR, WAAS and TCAS enabled, and have a few bells and whistles thrown in for the "Glam" factor.
I know it doesn't have retracts with those wheel pants!

OH H E double tooth pick No! That Ain't Worth 110,000 !!!!
It doesn't have floats or skis!
NO WAY
If someone buys it for that, then God has blessed them with an abundance of money and not much else.

Maybe the better half said he had to sell his other bird...
Now it's up for sale (but he knows he'll be keeping it for a while to come at that price)!
Cheers Eric

That is really a very, very nice airplane. However, at $110.000.00 asking price, you can bet *** he isn't desperate to sell it.
