What exactly has to be replaced on a primer that is making black soot on one side of the engine (the side the primer is in) Is it the two o rings at the engine of the plunger or is there more?

Thanks

IF YOUR PRIMER IS PUSHED ALL THE WAY IN AND TURNED TO THE LOCKED POSITION, THE FUEL SHOULD BE LOCKED OFF. IF IT IS LEAKING, THERE MAY BE SOME FOREIGN SUBSTANCE UNDER THE SEAT AND YOU WILL HAVE TO FLUSH IT OUT. THE EASIEST WAY TO DO THIS IS TO DISCONNECT THE LINES TO THE PUMP AND REMOVE THE PUMP FROM THE PANEL TO CLEAN IT ON THE BENCH.

So in the entire primer there is only two o rings that are on the plunger. I don't have a black exhaust I was just doing a little PM because the primer stuck so I replaced the o rings a viola just want to make sure everything was set.

Thanks

Just the 2 o-rings. That is it.
