Alternator/Vacuum Pump Combination 337 Copy Needed

Post by n2542c »

I have recently purchased a Alternator/Vacuum Pump model FVA201-CV from Stan Bedford of Universal Tow-All. He had promised to include a copy of a 337 for a Cessna 170 with a Continental C-145 engine. To make a VERY long story short I did not receive this nor do I think I will! As a long shot I was hoping someone out here may have a lead of any type that might help me locate one? even just a "N" number of a 170 that had one installed so I may obtain a copy from the FAA.

Thank you for any help,

Paul

I have a copy of this 337. I also have the same alternator with the accessory drive. It came in a box when I bought my airplane. The previous owner had purchased it but never installed it. A 337 was included for a C170A w/ the C-145 I believe. Unfortunately the alternator and 337 are in storage with the rest of our house hold goods and I wont get them until we move into our house in about 3 weeks. Email me (see profile) and bug me at the end of the month and I will get a copy for you.

Guys, has this mod worked will on your 170's ? If so is it possible to get information about how this alt/vaccum combination works and where can you purchase one, and copies of 337's.

The Int'l Cessna 170 Assoc. has the documentation and literature for the alternator/vacuum pump conversion and in accordance with the Association benefits policy will make it available to members.
