59 Charlie is back

Just thought I'd announce, that after 12 years of sitting in the barn, 59 Charlie is flying again.
Unfortunately 12 years with out enough care left some pitting in the aluminum, so I couldn't go with the polished scheme again. I had Danny King at Sturgis Aviation, Sturgis, MI remove and treat the corrosion, and apply a new paint job using Sherwin-Williams Jet-Glo. If you're looking for a paint job, Danny is a great guy. The plane is disassembled for painting, then re-assembled using all new fasteners. Stainless steel screws are used for all the exterior panels. New rubber moldings are also installed.
Now, when the bank account recovers, I'll be looking at some updated avonics.
Reilly, my Corgi, approves, and is ready to do some flying!
