shims for axle to gear leg

Post by russ murri »

looking for shims ,anyone have any or know were I can buy them other than cessna let me know. Ive checked with a couple wrecking yards with not much luck in the northwest. so far the change from stock legs to 180 legs on my ragwing is fairly easy. Russ

Just checked the Aircraft Spruce catalog. They list tapered axle shims of differing thicknesses, but I don't know if they'll fit Cessna axles.

I am more interested in how far out you can be ,(how critical is tow in) in handling?
