MA3SPA Bowl Leak

I noticed a very small leak from the bottom of my 48 170 Carb and I found a small crack at the Bowl Drain. The tapered plug will open the crack and allow the leak. It probably has been over torqued. Does anyone have a bottom half "bowl" that I could purchase or is anyone aware of a way to have the drain port repaired?
Thx, Dan

I've seen two carbs damaged like that. The pipe-plug will crack the body if it's screwed in too tight. (There is only gravity pressure on the fuel...no need to tighten beyond finger tight.)
The only true fix is to replace it. (And it may be just as cost effective to exchange it for a rebuilt carb. At leasy you'll have a documented re-built carb.)
